Matt Baldwin Design
Based in Suffolk, Matt designs and makes all of his pieces.
His work takes inspiration from the clean and pure aesthetics of Scandinavian design and geometric forms. Using a mixture of modern processes like CNC machining and 3D printing, Matt creates pieces which are then hand finished.
He has a lifelong love of art and design and a keen interest in how things are made. Graduating in Contemporary Furniture and Related Product Design from Buckinghamshire New University, Matt has been working in the industry for over 10 years. Working in a variety of manufacturing and design roles including hospitality, interiors, and commercial industries.
Matt says “Growing up I have always had a love for design and how things are made. I am often inspired by Scandinavian ideals of design looking for pure and clean aesthetics and try to replicate this within my work”
Matt Baldwin Design aims to create products that are sustainable and considerate to the environmental impact they may cause whilst remaining uncompromising in design ideals.
